Summary

This Central Saanich renovation transformed a challenging sloped backyard into a seamless and inviting outdoor retreat. To accommodate an in-ground pool while minimizing its visual height, the design introduced a series of tiered landings and softly contoured garden beds that gently step down the landscape. Multiple small landings create an accessible and comfortable transition from the home to the pool, while natural materials and a rustic design style allow the space to blend effortlessly with the character of the house, the surrounding landscape, and the diverse plant life that frame the entire setting.
